Okay but not the best explanation of Newton's 1st Law, which SO many people misunderstand. This video needs to use the term "NET force" in place of "force"
...
in this explanation. When analyzing motion, one MUST analyze ALL the forces acting on an object. A "force" is not required to make something move... an object with ZERO net force can still be moving at constant velocity. There needs to be some in-depth explanation of this concept. In fact, there should be a lesson entirely devoted to the concept of analyzing forces acting on objects and the idea of the NET force. There should also be a lesson on free-body diagrams.
This lesson is sufficient for a middle school class but falls WAY short of being deep enough for AP Physics.
